Camels are a unique form of cavalry recruited mainly by the Arab factions, but which can also be recruited as mercenary units, most notably by the Egyptian and Parthian factions.
The most common traits associated with camels are the following:
- Defensive bonus versus enemy melee horse units;
- More hitpoints, and +1 armour more than horse units of equivalent type;
- Slower movement than horse units.
