The classic Kings & Conquerors experience, reliving the intrigue and chaos of the Hellenistic Era: the nascent Roman republic pitted against some of the greatest empires of classical history.

In Rise of the Barbarians, Rome has overcome the Greek and Carthaginian challenges to her rule, but many threats remain - from sullen Celts and bloodthirsty Germans to jealous Asians. It's up to you to destroy Rome, or aid her survival and the formation of Roman imperium throughout Europe.

Once more Rome is in crisis. But not for long. For out of the shadows of the Senate, from amongst the plebs, Imperivm Invictvm traces the adventures of what could possibly have been the greatest Roman to have lived....

RoN's first and foremost Archaic Age mod: relive the story of Hammurabi's rise and heroic stand against the might of Elam in the 18th century BCE Middle East, or the dawn of the Greek, Chinese and Indo-Aryan civilisations ... or try your hand at playing out or even staying the fall of Egypt to the Hyksos ...

This mod is in essence a Kings & Conquerors mod, retaining the Reforms system and a tech tree more or less resembles that one developed for The Hellenistic Era. However there are differences, aside from being set 1,500 years earlier in actual history, with different units, and also different Wonders.
