The Sarmatians have the Power of Nomadism.
The less civilised among the three Iranic tribes (the other two being the Armenians and the Parthians — that is if the multicultural Bosporans and Pontics were excluded), the Sarmatians are a race of hunter-gatherers, herders and slavers who make their home in the northern lands between Europa and Asia, which are idea places to breed a people used to harsh living conditions, mobility and war — elements that make for an ideal military force.
Faction Bonuses
- Home on the Range: Have no National Territory, and can construct buildings in any territory not held by another nation.
- Pastoralism: Instead of building Farms and Granaries, receive Food for each Citizen, Scout, and Calvary unit (except when garrisoned). Farms and Granaries in captured enemy Cities are instantly razed.
- Horsemanship: Ranged Cavalry upgrades are free.
