The Seleucids have the Power of Empire. They replace the Bantu.

The strategos Seleucus Nicator had both the foresight and the luck to establish his new fief in Mesopotamia. Despite its seeming isolation and its reputation for barbaric excess amongst the Hellenes, the city of Babylon proffers many advantages for any king bent on being obeyed by all — amongst which are its strategic location between east and west, as well as its prestigious reputation, despite being little more than a somewhat squalid desert town.

Names and connections aren't enough to secure an effective imperium, however, and so the Seleucids back up the soft whispers of generations of inherited honour with a big stick. Thanks to the size of their Asian home and the industry of their many subjects, the Seleucids are able to field massive armies envied even by their Macedonian cousins back in Greece. If there is one power that may well stand the cruel and inhuman test of time, it could well be the house of Seleucus Nicator.
